Another crane!
A bird this time. Sometimes we do get boat cranes going by too... (kinda like the barges)
Maeve in the Johnny Jump Up
She loves it!
They started our deck!
I should be finished by Mothers Day! We are very excited.
Wednesday pic
This is for April 26th for those keeping track. The homemade sweater and hat are from Aunt Jenny in Greensboro. Thank you Auntie!
Bruce comes and sees the new baby!
Janet's brother came to town a week ago to meet Cecelia. It was nice to have him here for a few days.
Tummy time for Celia!
With Uncle Bruce cheering on!
My dad and I worked on the dock
It had a number of board not screwed down at all... and I never have felt completely safe in it. It will be good enough for a summer or two hopefully!
I great day to be outside!
And wearing our eye protection of course!
Online meal
This was the best meal of the dinnerplate.com samples. It's pork tenderloin with butttered noodles. The pork was flavored with garlic, onion, applesauce and wine, and tasted great! The buttered noodles were fine, and we added the grean beans.
The only drawback of the meal was Merrill choked on a piece of meat, and I had to perform the Heimleich on him (which worked). Good thing I was in the room.

Dad has his hands full.
And obviously loving it!
Behind Uncle Bruce
is Minnehaha falls. FYI
Grandma visit's Cecelia
Wednesday pic
From April 18th. Getting to be such a big girl!
Cecelia's first bottle!
She did very well... we are probably as ready as we will ever be when mom goes back to work, starting May 1st.

Janet and Maeve enjoy Easter

Grandpa's kite fared better
Janet and I fly a kite
well... this was about as pretty as it got. The kite came from a dollar store, and it performed like it.
Maeve and the Target tambourine
We are desparately looking for a toy trombone... anyone have one out there?
Maeve and Ella play.
Linkert/Burfeind Girls on parade
With their friend the Easter bunny.
Grandpa and Cecelia
Grandma and Maeve
Happy Easter from the Linkert family
The Linkert girls on Easter Day
All dolled up with their Easter dresses, bunnies, and baskets.
Online meal
There was one dessert to try on in the sample meals we got from dinnerplate.com. It was this rasberry yogurt/jello blend in a grahm cracker crust. Accented here with cherry jello jigglers in a jelly bean shape.
This was similar to a rasberry cake Janet usually makes in the summer (with real rasberrys). This was good, but not as good as Janet's cake.

Maeve's bath before Easter
And mom loves to play with her hair.
Linkert cousins
After their successful Easter Egg hunt at Aunt Janet's place.
We were all shocked how well they stayed in place for this picture.

Linkert girls like it outside!
Maeve likes her Easter Eggs
It was nice to sit her down on the grass and catch some sun.
Avae finds an egg
Saturday morning we were at my Uncle Lawrence's and had the Linkert Easter Egg hunt there with all the cousins and their children. They have a great big yard for the Easter Egg hunt.

Today's online meal
Salisbury steak was Dinnerplate.com's suggestion for a meal tonight. Janet said it was pretty easy to make. We thought it was good, and worth keeping.
Barge on Minnetonka
I saw this large boat go by last fall, picking up the "Slow Water's" buoy in our lake. I couldn't find my camera quick enough to get a pick of it. Fortunately today I was ready.
Grandpa Linkert and Cecelia
Sara checks out her daughters handiwork
Ella, the artist
Taking after her mother, Ella was very precise in her decorating of Easter Eggs Thursday.
Maeve's colors an egg... and her hand
The blue actually washed away rather quickly.
Grandpa's Egg
Star Wars and Easter
It really never is Easter to me, until we get the Star Wars Easter Egg coloring kit out. My favorite is Yoda on the right.
The girls decorating eggs
Cecelia's Wednesday picture
Sorry this is so late getting posted. She is getting more and more active. She is also responsive to us, and is beginning to make smiles. Too fun!
Maeve loves the weather
She thinks she's in Hawaii.
Online meal
This is Greek Ravioli. It's cheese ravioli's, with spinich, tomatoes, feta cheese and olives. It was an ok meal. I doubt we will try it again though. This is from the dinnerplate.com suggested meals.
Grandma and Cecelia at Zach's baptism
Maeve and Abbi
Zach's reception after the baptism was in the church, so we let Maeve crawl after her cousins (and 2nd cousins). It is so fun to watch her interact with them!
Red likes Cecelia
While daddy went out to play with his friends last weekend, Red came over to visit with Janet and the girls. Red is soon to be a grandmother herself.
No more ice
It melted very fast there at the end. Soon we will have a deck to take pictures of this lake, which will be a lot of fun!
Our first online meal
Janet and I are trying to bring some variety to our meals. Through a Star Tribune article from a couple months ago, we checked out a website called, dinnerplate.com. It's a service that will email you a weeks worth of recipes to try out. It includes a shopping list. So we are going to try it for the next week or so.
The first meal is Chicken Picante with Creamed Spinach. We really enjoyed the chicken, which was flavored with picante sause, with mustard and brown sugar. The creamed spinach wasn't so bad, but we will probaby avoid it in the future

Cecelia Wednesday picture
Her first successful time in the swing. Previous attempts lead to a lot of crying.
Maeve about to head to surgery
Feeling goofy
After the nurses gave her some medicine before she is to receive tubes in her ears.
It's tiring going for walks
Maeve did enjoy the first part of the walk.
Out walking with Grandma Linkert
The weather finally allowing it.
Irish twins?
Is a term someone called it when you have two children so close in age. Here they are wearing the same sleeper, just different sizes.
Cecelia's Art project
We got footprints, but was too upset to do the handprints.
Snows gone
And those blue tarps are still there... I guess I have no excuse to leave them there now...
Ice retreating
Some water now around the docks and shore, and melting fast!
Sisters
Aunt Mary bids us goodbye
We loved having her here, and can't wait to see all of the Andersen's this August.
